From the misty shores of Loch Ness to the sandy shores of the tropics there isn’t a soul alive that does not know a tale or two about mermaids. From salty sailor’s stories to children’s bedtime stories, the world has always been fascinated with the creatures of the deep and the beautiful Sirens that captivate all who see them and are the basis of stories that warn about their songs. Whether it be arguing that science doesn’t support the facts, or just tales told to pass the time, perhaps stories of pirates who went mad after to long at sea with nothing to drink but the smuggled rum in their cargo, to cave art dating thousands of years ago depicting these creatures so many say are only that of legend and lore, one thing is fact; Mermaids are a large part of who we are.
This shop is for all those who wish they could trade their legs for a tail and explore the world below us and the mysteries and secrets it holds.
